Minimum wage to rise to $10.80
As previously announced by the Labor Dept., the minimum wage for workers in, or in connection with, covered federal contracts will rise to $10.80 per hour beginning Jan. 1, 2020. The required minimum cash wage for tipped employees in such contracts will increase to $7.55 per hour.
