OASIS SB strong start
In its first three months since it launched in June, the OASIS Small Business contract has received task orders from five agencies totaling up to $68 million, according to an analysis by Federal Times.
The task orders include an SEC maximum $57 million award to Amyx Inc.; a USDA maximum $3.8 million award to Panum Telecom LLC; and a maximum $1.2 million Veterans Affairs Department award to IKUN LLC.
VA T4 competition
More than 600 vendors have expressed interest in the next generation of the Veterans Affairs Department’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Program known as T4NG, estimated at $22 billion. The contract is mostly for IT management.
The solicitation is expected in November.
The VA is planning up to 20 contracts, with 12 reserved for small businesses, including four for veteran-owned; four for service-disabled veteran-owned; and four for other small firms.
Employment of veterans will be an evaluation factor, according to NextGov.

PSC fights exec order
President Obama’s executive order requiring contractors to disclose labor law violations is contrary to existing law, increases costs and lacks guidance for how it should be implemented, the Professional Services Council told White House orfficials in a recent meeting.
PSC President Stan Soloway advised that the “order must be substantially changed and any implementing guidance or procurement regulations must be carefully crafted with full stakeholder input in advance.”
