PSC ranks agencies’ forecasts
The Professional Services Council advocacy group for federal contractors released its 2020 Federal Business Forecast Scorecard ranking how well federal agencies are performing in compiling and publishing their annual acquisition forecasts. Of the 60 agencies reviewed, 28 ranked as “need improvement.”
It’s the second year in a row that the council has graded agencies on 15 key attributes of their forecasts.
The 2020 standout is the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command’s (NAVWAR), which “exceeded expectations” with easy navigation and in-depth information, PSC said.

Agencies with apparently no forecasts published for 2020 were the Air Force and the HHS - CDC, PSC said.
