Consolidating 600 SINs
Comments due by July 12
The General Services Administration is proposing to consolidate Special Item Numbers (SINs) on its Multiple-Award Schedules to reduce the number of SINs from 900 to about 300.
In a Request for Information released on June 26, the GSA is seeking feedback on its plans to overhaul SINs, categories and subcategories for its upcoming solicitation for consolidated Schedules coming later this year.
“Reorganizing our categories and consolidating our SINs is a big step toward our final goal of a single Schedule,” Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Alan Thomas said.
