The Top 20 federal agencies for HUBZone set-aside opportunities

DOD has 69% of HUBZone set-aside opportunities in 2016-17

     While the Defense Department is not achieving the government’s HUBZone goals, it has the lion’s share of pending potential HUBZone set-aside opportunities.

      DOD has awarded $815 million in HUBZone set-aside contracts expiring in 2016 and 2017--the largest by far of any federal agency, according to Set-Aside Alert’s latest analysis of federal data. Those set-asides are likely to be opportunities for HUBZone firms when they expire and are recompeted.

      DOD HUBZone set-asides made up 69% of the $1.2 billion in HUBZone set-asides expected to be recompeted in 2016 and 2017.
