GSA’s FAS Web catalog
The GSA has begun rolling out a pilot version of its FAS Catalog Platform (FCP), which is a Web-based platform that will replace the existing Schedule Input Program (SIP), officials announced on GSA Interact.
The new FCP platform “will make it easier for contractors to manage their product details,” GSA said.
Users have been processing their Baseline modification and publishing their catalogs to GSA Advantage.
The pilot rollout is starting with contractors holding the Office Supplies 4th Generation (OS4) Special Item Number (SIN). It will run through Sept. 30, 2023.
Following the completion of the pilot, all Multiple-Award Schedule holders, starting with MAS product catalogs, will be transitioned to the FCP.
“This will be a multi-year project, and SIP will officially be retired once all users are moved to the FCP. Contractors interested in moving to FCP should fill out the FCP transition form to provide key catalog information,” the Interact announcement stated.
