CIO-SP3 for 6 more months
The National Institutes of Health’s (NIH’s) CIO-SP3 IT solutions contract has been extended for another six months to allow for more time for the next iteration, CIO-SP4, to be awarded, NIH officials announced.
The CIO-SP4 awards currently are being delayed due to more than 100 unresolved bid protests at the Government Accountability Office. NIH on March 31 said it had named apparently successful offerers.
While CIO-SP3 previously was set to expire on April 29, the expiration now has been pushed back to Oct. 29.
