Alliant 2 Small Biz RFP coming

Prospective bidders advised to prepare for self-scoring format

The solicitations for the General Services Administration’s Alliant 2 Small Business IT solutions multiple-award contract are expected to be released shortly. There will be 80 slots available to small vendors.

Alliant is one of the government’s most successful multiple-award contracts. During fiscal 2015, Alliant Small Business received 90 task orders and over $1.2 billion in obligations, according to GSA.

Contracting specialists note that Alliant 2 bids will utilize a self-scoring format similar to what was used in OASIS.

Specialists are advising prospective bidders to score themselves in advance so they can determine if they are competitive.
