Diversity EO suspended
On Dec. 22, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued a preliminary nationwide injunction--effective immediately--prohibiting enforcement of the controversial Executive Order 13950 on purported race and sex “stereotyping” and “scapegoating.” The court said the order likely violates First Amendment rights. The Labor Dept. has issued notice it was stopping enforcement of the EO.
