The Homeland Security Department, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, has announced a standard competition to provide various citizenship and immigration information services. The services are currently being performed by about 1,100 government employees. The work includes providing a broad range of information services to customers about citizenship and immigration benefits, options for applying for benefits and related procedures and services. The work also includes providing a wide variety of customer services, such as handling service transactions and screening applications, along with issue and problem identification and resolution activities.
