OASIS update
The estimated release date for draft solicitations for the General Services Administration’s huge “OASIS” professional services contract has been moved to late October, according to Aronson LLC law firm.
Program Manager Jim Ghiloni announced in August that OASIS would have two tracks: unrestricted and small business set-aside. Deltek has estimated OASIS at $12 billion, but other specialists forecast as high as $48 billion.
GSA is seeking to make enough awards in each socioeconomic small business category to ensure meaningful competition for each task order set-aside for specific socioeconomic groups, according to the Aronson FedPoint blog.
The final Requests for Proposals for OASIS are anticipated to be released by March 19, 2013, and bidders will have approximately six weeks to prepare their responses, Aronson FedPoint indicated.
