  • Recent Defense Contract Awards to Small Businesses

    NAVY

    Corinthian Contractors Inc., Arlington, VA, was awarded $7,171,153 for firm-fixed-price task order #0016 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N40080-10-D-0497) for the replacement of sprinklers and fire alarm systems at Uniformed Services University, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Four proposals were received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, Public Works Department Bethesda, MD, is the contracting activity.  

    Mark Dunning Industries, Dothan, AL, was awarded a $6,765,796 modification under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, IDIQ contract to exercise option one for base operations support services at Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA.    The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity (N69450-11-D-7577). 

    Island Mechanical Contractor, Inc., Middleburg, FL (N69450-12-D-1274); P and S Construction Inc., North Chelmsford, MA (N69450-12-D-1276); and Ratcliff Construction Inc., Orange Park, FL (N69450-12-D-1277), were each awarded a firm-fixed-price IDIQ multiple award contract for construction projects at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  The maximum dollar value for all six contracts combined is $95,000,000.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 22 proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, is the contracting activity.  

    TerranearPMC LLC, Exton, PA (N40085-D-1754); Watermark, Lowell, MA (N40085-D-1755); H&S Environmental, Westborough, MA (N40085-D-1756); Coastal Environmental Group Inc., Chesnut Ridge, NY (N40085-D-1757), SES-TECH Atlantic, Norfolk, VA (N40085-D-1758), and Tidewater-Sovereign, Columbia, MD (N40085-D-1759), were each awarded an IDIQ environmental multiple award contract for environmental remedial action construction services within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic area of responsibility.  The maximum dollar value, including the base period and four options years, for all six contracts combined is $50,000,000.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 13 proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA, is the contracting activity. 

    JW Clark Enterprises Inc., Hampton, VA, was awarded a maximum amount $21,073,093 IDIQ contract forpainting and vinyl wall coverings throughout the Hampton Roads Va., Region. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with eight proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA, is the contracting activity (N40085-12-D-4580). 

    Facilities Development Corp., Reston, VA, was awarded a maximum amount $15,000,000 IDIQ contract for the design, installation, repair, and upgrade of the critical power systems worldwide.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with four proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, CA, is the contracting activity (N62583-12-D-0762). 

    Nutmeg Co. Inc., Norwich, CT, was awarded a $13,345,600 firm-fixed-price contract for restoration repairs to Submarine School A, Bachelor Quarters 534 at Naval Submarine Base, New London.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website with 10 proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA, is the contracting activity (N40085-12-C-1715).

      East Carolina Mechanical LLC, Jacksonville, NC, was awarded an $8,925,300 firm-fixed-price task order under a multiple award construction contract for major interior and exterior repairs to bachelor’s enlisted quarters HP265 and HP255.  Five proposals were received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA, is the contracting activity (N40085-09-D-5340). 

    Defense Logistics Agency

    Allied Joint Venture, Hialeah, FL, was issued a modification exercising the first option year on contract SPM2DS-11-D-0001/P00026.  The award is a firm fixed price, sole source contract with a maximum $60,000,000 for surgical and medical instruments and supplies.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia. 

    West-Mark, Ceres, CA, was awarded contract SPM8EC-12-D-0014.  The award is a fixed price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $177,500,000 for procurement of commercial type trucks and trailers. There were 15 solicitations with 15 responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA.

      Corporate Allocation Services Inc., Westminster, CO, was awarded a firm fixed price with cost reimbursement type contract with a maximum $10,019,988 for operation and maintenance services of Peterson Air Force Base fuel facilities. There were 5 responses.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, VA.
