USCIS consolidates in move to Camp Springs, MD
GSA signed a new lease agreement for the headquarters of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Camp Springs, MD, USCIS said in a press release.
USCIS will consolidate from six locations into a single facility.
The lease is for 574,767 rentable square feet for a term of 15 years.
The new leased headquarters will save the agency $21.4 million in annual leased savings in the first year and reduce its footprint by 128,000 square feet, USCIS said.
USCIS Acting Director James W. McCament said the new “world-class facility will centralize our headquarters operations for the first time in our history, allowing us to collaborate with greater effectiveness."
