WOSB study
The Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship approved legislation to order the Small Business Administration to perform a comprehensive study of women-owned small business participation in federal contracting.
The bill, S 1038, also asks the SBA to examine such contracting for small firms owned by disadvantaged people and by service-disabled veterans, as well as small firms in HUBZones.
