Contractor debarments rise

Federal agencies had 8% more contractor suspension and debarment actions in 2014 than in 2013, the Interagency Suspension and Debarment Committee reported. Debarments rose from 1,696 in 2013 to 1,929 in 2014; suspensions increased from 887 to 1,009.

The Army, Homeland Security Department and HUD were the most active.
