FedBid is back

The Air Force has lifted its suspension of reverse auction provider FedBid, under the terms of an Administrative Agreement with the company made on Feb. 20.

The Air Force also agreed to stop debarment proceedings against FedBid, though it retained the right to initiate such proceedings again if further abuses occur.

In the agreement, FedBid agreed to various ethics compliance measures, including maintaining an ethics code of conduct, training and standards and having a third-party monitor.

FedBid also agreed to keep former FedBid CEO and founder Ali Saadat at arms length with no ability to control or influence FedBid.

Saadat resigned on Feb. 5.
