GSA unveils prices paid tool

Government buyers now have access to a new Prices Paid Tool online to compare pricing on the Alliant and Alliant Small Business acquisition vehicles.

Alliant and Alliant SB together have generated $11.1 billion on 870 task orders, Mary Davie, assistant commissioner with the Federal Acquisition Service, wrote in a news release.

The new tool is part of the agency’s new category management approach and provides users with a breakdown of pricing data by agency, company, contract family, labor categories, and contract type. “Understanding prices paid and sharing that data across government is critical to reducing costs and making smarter decisions,” Davie wrote.
