DOD CPSR threshold rule
Went into effect Dec. 31
The Defense Dept.’s Defense Acquisition Regulations System issued a final rule to set up a new dollar threshold of $50,000 for a formal Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR). It went into effect Dec. 31.
Currently, the administrative contracting officer is required to determine whether a contractor’s sales to the government would exceed $25 million during the next year and, if so, determine if a formal CPSR is needed.
