The Justice Department’s Office of Justice Programs in Washington will issue an RFP for Office of the Comptroller Control Desk and other office administrative services. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 561110. The services required are categorized under seven tasks: (1) operation of the OC Control Desk; (2) Receiving and distribution of mail; (3) maintenance of official grant files; (4) control of application/grant activities; (5) file maintenance and data entry of application files; (6) support services for the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs; and (7) operation of the Community Oriented Policing Services Control Desk. These services are currently being performed by Vistronix Inc. under a GSA Schedule blanket purchase agreement. The RFP, number 2004R_001 2004R_001, will be released around Dec. 15. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center plans to issue up to five indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity construction contracts for work at several locations, including Glynco, GA, Artesia, NM, Cheltenham, MD and Charleston, SC. Up to three of the contracts will be small business set-asides. The NAICS code is 236220. New construction will include student dormitories, office buildings, driver training ranges, classroom buildings, dining halls, indoor and outdoor firearms ranges, and practical exercise facilities. Total estimated construction cost over the five-year period is $500 million, with individual projects ranging from $1 million to $50 million. Because of the estimated value of the projects, the letter must also provide the offeror’s bonding capacity.

The Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama has a requirement for engineering services for the Electronic Technology Systems Center, Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS).
