Recent Defense Contract Awards to Small Businesses

NAVY

Guam Cleaning Masters, Dededo, Guam, is being awarded a $7,134,401 firm-fixed-price, IDIQ contract for grounds maintenance and tree trimming services for various United States military installations in Guam. The services under this contract include maintenance for improved, semi improved and unimproved grounds, as well as maintenance of storm drainage systems. The contract contains two option years, which if exercised, will bring the contract value to $22,249,593. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with four proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Marianas, Guam, is the contracting activity (N40192-12-D-9008).

Valley Tech Systems Inc., Folsom, CA (N68936-10-D-0002); Advanced Integrated Systems, Santa Barbara, CA (N68936-10-D-0003); LC Engineers Inc., Rahway, NJ (N68936-10-D-0004); and New Directions Technologies Inc., Ridgecrest, CA (N68936-10-D-0005), are each being awarded firm-fixed-price modifications to previously awarded IDIQ multiple award contracts to exercise options for advanced technology products in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division’s Weapons Prototype Division. Products and support to be provided include electronic components and systems, mechanical components and systems, energetic materials and systems, chemical materials and components, fabrication, assembly, plating/painting/finish and packing and shipping. The aggregate not-to-exceed amount for these multiple award modifications is $8,166,666, and the companies will have fair opportunity to bid on each individual task order. Work will be performed in Folsom, Santa Barbara and Ridgecrest, CA; and Rahway, NJ. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Aerosonic Corp., Clearwater, FL, was awarded a firm-fixed-price with economic price adjustment, sole-source contract with a maximum $15,410,867 for pressure altimeter parts. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, AL, is the contracting activity (SPRRA1-12-D-0003/0001).

Bren-Tronics Inc., Commack, NY, was awarded contract SPRBL1-12-D-0001. This is a sole-source, IDIQ, fixed price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $23,126,200 for CSEL battery and adapter for the AN/PRQ-7 CSEL radio. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land at Aberdeen, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Sopakco Inc., Mullins, SC, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract worth a maximum $2,281,384,955 for Meal, Ready-to-Eat and humanitarian daily ration cases. There were three solicitations with three responses. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (SPM3S1-12-D-Z108).

All American Hose LLC, Union City, PA, was awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $19,613,843 for non-metallic hose assemblies. There were five responses to the Web solicitation. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (SPM8EJ-11-D-0503).

Foster-Caviness Co., Colfax, NC, was issued a modification exercising the third option year on contract SPM300-08-D-P002/P00015. The award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $14,100,000 for full line fresh fruit and vegetable support. There were two responses to the Web solicitations. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity.

Bethel Industries Inc., Jersey City, NJ, was issued a modification exercising the fourth option year on contract SPM1C1-08-D-1028/P00034. The award is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum $14,509,728 for Navy task force working/utility uniforms, and Army combat uniforms. There were 15 responses to the Web solicitations. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity.

Produce Source Partners, Ashland, VA, was issued a modification exercising the third option year on contract SPM300-08-D-P001/P00011. The award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment, total set aside contract with a maximum $13,800,000 for full line fresh fruit and vegetables support. There were three responses to the Web solicitations. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity.

Atlantic Diving Supply Inc., Virginia Beach, VA, was issued a modification exercising the third option year on contract SPM8EG-08-D-0002. The award is a fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for a tailored logistics support program for fire and emergency services for military installations in the Southeast Region. The maximum dollar value of $636,913,368 is the aggregate total for all 15 contracts in this program. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia.
