Dec. 2 deadline for closeouts

The Homeland Security Department published a list of expired contracts that need to be closed out. Vendors have until Dec. 2 to file final invoices.

The list is of “contracts that are considered over-age, as the period of performance or final delivery date of these actions has expired and the time allowed for contract file closeout has elapsed,” according to a Federal Register notice.

To clear a backlog of such contracts, DHS developed procedures to enable closeout of these contracts.
