Procurement Watch

At least two dozen small businesses have won places on the largest IDIQ contract ever awarded by the FBI, the Information Technology Supplies and Support Services (IT-Triple S) contract. It has a maximum value of $30 billion over eight years.

The 46 vendors will compete for task orders to provide products, services and solutions to customers throughout the Justice Department. An FBI spokesman said the majority of vendors are small businesses, but he could not provide a list.

Among the large-business awardees is GTSI, which was suspended from federal contracting for nearly three weeks during October for alleged improprieties.
