The Army Corps of Engineers in Huntsville, AL, is seeking small business sources capable of maintaining the Army Facilities Components Systems (AFCS) database. AFCS is a database of structural designs, bills of materials, logistics data and related information that describes installations, facilities, buildings, and other structures and works commonly required by military forces for base development, lines of communication activities, and tactical operations. AFCS is primarily used by units in contingency operations, but can also be used to support construction for disaster relief and peacetime temporary construction. Military planners use AFCS to select the appropriate temporary facilities and to extract necessary information for construction planning. The solicitation number is W912DY10R0038.
