DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

BRS Aerospace, South St. Paul, MN, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $7,797,339 for low velocity parachutes. The revised award quantity contract is based on urgent and compelling requirements in direct support of operations in Afghanistan. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, VA, is the contracting activity (SPM4A7-11-C-0595).

Valley Apparel LLC, Knoxville, TN, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for a maximum $44,448,892 for extreme cold/wet weather jackets.The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is the contracting activity (SPM1C1-11-D-1066).

NAVY

The Fleet Logistics Center San Diego has awarded 24 cost-plus-fixed-fee, IDIQ multiple award contracts for a wide range of temporary support services. The contracts were awarded regionally, and contractors will compete for task orders in each region.

Maximum value for all 24 contracts combined is $730 million over three years. Contracts were competitively procured via the World Wide Web, with 57 offers received in response to the small business set aside solicitation.

NAVMAR Applied Sciences Corp., Warminster, PA, is being awarded an $84,702,930 firm-fixed-priced, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research project under Topics N92-170, entitled “Laser Detection & Ranging Identification Demonstration,” and N94-178, entitled “Air Deployable Expendable Multi-parameter Environmental Probe.” This Phase III award provides for the production, validation, and delivery of the Gondola avionic sensor packages for the Army. This Phase III contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-5. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ, is the contracting activity (N68335-11-C-0214).

CMS Toltest Inc., Bargersville, IN, is being awarded $13,401,318 for firm-fixed-price task order #0003 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N69450-10-D-1271) for construction of a waterfront emergency generator building at Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, GA. Five proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, is the contracting activity. 

American Electronic Warfare Association Inc., California, MD, (N00421-11-C-1051); J.F. Taylor Inc., Lexington Park, MD (N00421-11-C-1052); Coherent Technical Services Inc., Lexington Park, MD (N00421-11-C-1053); Dayton T. Brown Inc., Bohemia, NY (N00421-11-C-1054); and Strata-G Solutions Inc., Huntsville, AL (N00421-11-C-1055) are each being awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, IDIQ multiple award contracts to perform research and development and other functions in support of the Aircraft Prototype Facility. The not-to-exceed amount for these multiple award contracts is $219,875,168, and the companies will have the opportunity to bid on each individual task order.  Work will be performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD and at individual contractor facilities. These contracts were solicited via a multiple award electronic request for proposals as a 100 percent small business set-aside; and five offers were received. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD, is the contracting activity.

  K-W Construction, San Marcos, TX, is being awarded $7,608,000 for firm-fixed-price task order #0003 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N69450-10-D-0774) for the Training-6, Texan, Phase II Facilities Recapitalization Project at Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi. Two proposals were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, is the contracting activity.
