North Star Scientific Corp., Kapolei, HI, was awarded on June 8 a $10,487,213 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-10-G-0008). This order is for the production of 83 AN-APS-145 Radar Trigger Pulse Amplifier Redesign (TPAR) WRA-31 units; 74 spares, and technical data items for the E-2C aircraft; and 1 modified TPAR unit for the E-2C aircraft simulated maintenance trainer. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD, is the contracting activity. Andromeda Systems Inc., Virginia Beach, VA, is being awarded a $49,500,000 not-to-exceed IDIQ contract to provide logistics and technical services in support of the Naval Air Systems Command’s Industrial and Logistics Maintenance Planning/Sustainment Department. This contract was competitively procured via an electronic request for proposals as a 100-percent small business set-aside; four offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, FL, is the contracting activity (N61340-11-D-1010). TCOM LP, Columbia, MD, is being awarded a $10,224,392 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N68335-11-C-0250) for the procurement of hardware in support of phase three of the Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems (PGSS) for the Army. Work will be performed in Elizabeth City, NC, and Columbia, MD, and is expected to be completed in September 2011. Enterprises Inc., Liverpool, NY, is being awarded a $47 million five-year firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery requirements contract to provide U.S. Marine Corps and Army a commercial single integrator responsible for procuring, packaging and shipping specified tactical fuel systems and components, and water supply support equipment systems and components. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the contract total to $99,000,000. This is a competitive small business set-aside with seven offers received. Neany Inc., Hollywood, MD, is being awarded a $9,998,865 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to manufacture, test, evaluate, and deliver Helios unmanned aerial systems and ground control stations for the Army. Intevac Photonics Inc., Santa Clara, CA, is being awarded a $9,596,806 IDIQ contract for research and development that will improve and characterize the performance of the ISIE4000 electron bombarded active pixel sensor night vision camera in support of various Navy aircraft platforms. This contract was competitively procured via Broad Agency Announcement, with one offer received. AVMAR Applied Sciences Corp., Warminster, PA, is being awarded a $73,952,510 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research project under Topics 92-170, N94-178, and AF083-006, for the development and use of the Helios unmanned air systems (UAS).
