OFPP to issue more guidance on past performance
The White House’s Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) expects to release additional guidance to federal contracting officers this summer to help them assess vendors’ past performance.
"We are a couple of weeks from issuing additional guidance that broadens the sources of past performance information," Lesley Field, acting administrator of the OFPP, said at a recent conference, according to FierceGovernment.
OFPP also wants agencies to consider strategic sourcing options earlier in the contract-award process.
