VA suspends processing of new verifications

The VA’s Center for Verification and Evaluation and OSDBU suspended processing of new applications for verification or reverification as a veteran-owned small business on May 21 for what they expect to be about 30 days.

The purpose of the suspension was to transition to the new online Vendor Information Pages to support the Vets First Verification Program. The new Web pages aim to offer better tools for an enhanced online experience.

The VA predicted the suspension would last for about 30 days, which means the new vendor pages should be online by late June.
