Contract Awards: Air Force, GSA Satcom II

The Air Force has awarded IDIQ contracts worth up to $800 million to eight small businesses to support the service’s Electronic Systems Center.

The awards for the Professional Advisory Support Services (PASS) program went to Abacus Technology, Business Technologies and Solutions, Gemini Industries, Oasis Systems, Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, PESystems, Quantech Services and Sumaria Systems.

They will compete for task orders to provide services in the areas of acquisition, financial management, contracting and administrative support at the center’s headquarters at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, and at other locations.

PASS, a small business set-aside, is part of an effort to replace the existing vehicle for such services, the $1.4 billion Information Technology Services Program (ITSP) II.

GSA Awards Satcom II Contracts

Nine small businesses won spots on GSA’s Satcom II contract for satellite communications.

Fifteen large companies also were awarded places on the five-year, $750 million IDIQ contract.

The small firms are CVG Inc., DasNet Corp., E&E Enterprises Global, Knight Sky Consulting and Associates LLC, New Orleans Teleport Inc., Psi Systems Inc., RiteNet Corporation, Satellite Communication Systems Inc., and Skjei Telecom Inc.

Satcom II includes a small business set-aside component for satellite professional support services.
