    The House Small Business Committee is urging Congress to cut off funding for Women’s Business Centers and other education, training and outreach programs at the Small Business Administration in fiscal 2015.

    Should SDVOSB certs go to SBA?
    The government would save about $5 million a year if it transferred authority to certify service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) to the Small Business Administration, the Congressional Budget Office said in a report.

    Cost of better data on bundling
    Collecting more and better data on federal contract consolidation and bundling would cost taxpayers $1 million over five years, according to a new estimate from the Congressional Budget Office.

    The General Services Administration issued a proposed rule to provide increased access to GSA's Schedules contracts for disaster response.
