    DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

    Paranetics Technology Inc., San Luis, AZ, was awarded contract SPM4A7-12-D-0084. The award is firm fixed price, partial set aside, IDIQ contract with a maximum $54,928,380 for low cost, low altitude parachutes. There were seven responses to the FedBizOpps proposal. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, VA.

    Babington Enterprises Inc., McLean, VA, was awarded a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract with a maximum $10,826,835 for tray ration heating system, single pallet expeditionary kitchen, and associated equipment. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (SPM3SE-12-D-0001).

    ACG Systems Inc., Annapolis, MD (N65236-12-D-4122); Atlantic Diving Supply Inc., Virginia Beach, VA (N65236-12-D-4123); Blue Tech Inc., San Diego (N65236-12-D-4124); CDW Government LLC, Vernon Hills, IL (N65236-12-D-4125); Global Technology Resources Inc., Denver (N65236-12-D-4126); Iron Bow Technologies LLC, Chantilly, VA (N65236-12-D-4127); Marshall Communications Corp., Ashburn, VA (N65236-12-D-4128); Mercom Inc., Pawleys Island, SC (N65236-12-D-4129); Strategic Communications LLC, Louisville, KY (N65236-12-D-4133); Tribalco LLC, Bethesda, MD (N65236-12-D-4134); and four large businesses are each being awarded an IDIQ, firm-fixed-price, multiple award supply contract for the procurement of commercial-off-the-shelf, network and communications equipment, and related incidental support services.  The contracts include options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to an estimated $500 million. The multiple award contracts were competitively procured by full and open competition via the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center e-Commerce Central website and the Federal Business Opportunities website, with 18 offers received. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, SC is the contracting activity.

    ArmorWorks Enterprise LLC, Chandler, AZ (N62583-10-D-0323); Southern California Gold Products Inc., Oxnard, CA (N62583-10-D-0346); and American Defense Systems Inc., Hicksville, NY (N62583-10-D-0347) are being awarded option year two under a firm-fixed-price multiple award contract for armor solutions designed for civil engineer support equipment in support of the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, Port Hueneme. The combined total value for all three contractors is $10 million. The total contract amount after exercise of this option will be $30 million. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Specialty Center Acquisitions, Port Hueneme, CA, is the contracting activity.

    Progeny Systems Corp., Manassas, VA, is being awarded a $10,917,004 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-08-C-6278) to exercised an option for Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase III engineering and technical services supporting SBIR topic N03-049, Automation and Work Flow Advances Using Technology Infusions for Manning Reduction. The concept for this SBIR is for a Navy-wide implementation of portal technology for internal and external information sharing requirements. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, is the contracting activity.
