Nine small businesses and five large ones will compete for task orders under a potential $500 million Navy contract for commercial off-the-shelf network and communications equipment and related services.

The five-year, IDIQ, firm-fixed-price supply contract was awarded after full and open competition by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, SC. Eighteen offers were received.
