The Homeland Security Department plans to release a draft RFP for its long-awaited SPIRIT contract around Feb. 20. SPIRIT is a multiple award IT contract that includes set-asides. In its latest announcement, the Coast Guard said it is targeting late May for release of the final RFP. The solicitation number is DTCG23-03-R-CGITSS. Because of the heavy interest, no phone calls or e-mails are being accepted.
The FBI plans to release an RFP for its Technology Support & Development Project (TSDP) on FedBizOpps around Feb. 20. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541511. The bureau anticipates up to 10 indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts for information technology support and development services. The project includes design, development, maintenance and enhancement of automated systems resident on mainframes, minicomputers, servers, and microcomputers. The Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Strategic Command (formerly U.S. Army Space Command) intends to award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts for scientific, engineering and technical assistance for the Space and Missile Defense Initiatives Support II (SMDIS II) program.
