Set-Aside Alert combed through multiple federal agency procurement forecasts to point you to the best selection of dozens more upcoming set-aside acquisitions for fiscal 2014.
The VA Forecast of Contracting Opportunities (http://goo.gl/Q3cZIR) lists 71 pages of total or partial set-asides in fiscal 2014. One of the middle-sized ones is a $2 million to $5 million requirement for surgical scrubs. Contact eugene.bey@va.gov.
The Homeland Security Department’s Acquisition Planning Forecast System (http://apfs.dhs.gov/PublicView.aspx) is studded with set-asides, including a new $1 million to $2 million requirement for network security equipment and installation services for the Infrastructure Transformation Program. But if you really want to see a lot of set-asides, check out the Housing & Urban Development Department’s (HUD’s) procurement forecast for fiscal 2014 (http://goo.gl/UlYNGK).
HUD needs many services, including $3 million to $5 million in hotline support, and $3 million to $5 million in graphic arts services. There are too many to list among the dozens of set-asides in the forecast.
