Headline Correction

A front page headline in the Nov. 5 edition of Set-Aside Alert incorrectly stated that there are “$89B in suspected frauds in EIDL.” The correct amount of suspected frauds in the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program is $84.8 billion.

There also are $4.6 billion in suspected frauds in the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Together the EIDL and PPP suspected frauds total $89 billion.

The article had the correct amounts.

Set-Aside Alert regrets the error in the headline.
