Air Force commits $1.5B to OASIS-SB
The General Services Administration's “OASIS-SB” professional services contracting vehicle--small business track--already has a substantial amount of contracts in the pipeline, according to Jim Ghiloni, program manager.
“To date, we have $1.5 billion for small business committed by the Air Force,” Ghiloni said at a recent GSA Procurement Forum.
In August, the Air Force Space and Missile Command said it wanted to use OASIS-SB for systems engineering and technical assistance activities at Los Angeles Air Force Base, valued at $472 million over five years.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and the Air Force Test and Evaluation Center at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida also have announced they will use OASIS-SB.
