GSA: We’ll be ‘mindful’ of holiday season

      General Services Administration officials recently outlined the schedule for the upcoming release and related events for the Polaris IT services contract solicitation--which is expected on or before Dec. 21, GSA contracting officer James Mitchell said in a recent Zoom presentation to vendors on Oct. 20.

      The goal is late fall, which, in “astronomical time” means by Dec. 21, Mitchell said. However, GSA “will take into account and be mindful of the holidays,” he said.

      Following the Request for Proposals there will be a pre-proposal Webinar within 7 days and a “Q&A” session within 20-30 days. Proposals will be due in 40-60 days, and awards will be in 2022.
