SBA modified scorecard methods in ‘17

      The Small Business Administration in fiscal 2017 made some significant changes to its methodology for the Small Business Procurement Scorecard, but it has not evaluated the impact of those changes, the Government Accountability Office reported.

      The weighting of small business prime contracting in agency scores was reduced to 50%, down from 80%. Other factors, including the change in the number of small business contractors, were added to the scoring.
