    • House NDAA has FITARA

          The House-passed National Defense Authorization Act of fiscal 2015 includes updated “FITARA” information technology acquisition provisions authored by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-CA. The measure would increase authority for federal department CIOs over component agency IT purchases.

          The updated version also covers the Defense Department’s CIO, according to FierceGovernment.
