Army Chooses 35 Contractors for OPTARSS II Twenty-two small businesses and thirteen large ones have been named prime contractors on the Army’s $2.5 billion Op, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services prime contract. Twenty-two small businesses and thirteen large ones have been named prime contractors on the Army’s $2.5 billion Op, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services prime contract. OPTARSS II is a five-year IDIQ multiple award task order contract. Contractors will provide the Army Forces Command with support services across eight primary military operations areas: operational planning, training, modeling and simulation, flight operations, mobilization planning and execution, deployment operations, force protection, and transformation. The contract is also available to other Army or Department of Defense services or agencies, and can be used either overseas or in the United States.
