EPA Picks Project Performance Corp. For IT Work

Project Performance Corp. of McLean, VA, has received the sole small business award of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Information Technology Solutions-Business Information Strategic Support contract, known as ITS-BISS.

The award is worth $128 million over five years.

SRA International Inc. won the large-business contract, worth $148 million.

The companies will provide IT services for EPA’s information management policy, planning and program management activities, including enterprise architecture, information security, business process management and customer relationship management.

SRA says more than 20 small and disadvantaged businesses will support its work.

“Our success in helping EPA achieve its strategic ITM goals will come from the fact that our advice and services will be solution-oriented,” said PPC CEO Mike Nigro. “We are determined to provide results that translate into EPA mission accomplishment: protecting people’s health and the environment.”

PPC’s partners include ERG, Robbins Gioia, SI International, AppsHub, ProLogic, Ambit Group, and HumanTouch.

Project Performance Corp. employs 170 people and has additional offices in Washington, Alexandria, Va., Germantown, Md., and Dallas. Its federal clients include the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Energy Department, FBI, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Transportation Security Administration.
