State Dept. Awards IT Work

The State Department chose eighteen small businesses to provide general information technology services at its facilities in the United States and abroad.

The Hybrid Information Technology Services at State, or HITSS, contract is an IDIQ award with maximum value ranging from $85 million to $114 million. Awardees are:

•Small Business: Pragmatics Inc., McLean, VA; Electronic Consulting Services Inc., Fairfax, VA; PRO-telligent LLC, Arlington, VA; RiteNet, Rockville, MD; and Intercom Federal Systems, Lansdowne, VA.

•8(a):Worldwide Information Network Systems (WINS), Greenbelt, MD; Access Systems Inc., Reston, VA; ActioNet, Fairfax, VA; Enterprise Information Services Inc., Vienna, VA; Creative Information Technology Inc., Arlington, VA; Trusted Base, McLean, VA; Primescape Solutions Inc., Arlington, VA; MultimaxArray HITSS/Joint Venture, Upper Marlboro, MD; and Zolon Tech Inc., Chantilly, VA.

•HUBZone: Acuity Inc., Washington; Sycamore US.

•Service Disabled Veteran Owned: Edgesource, Alexandria, VA; and BAI Inc., Alexandria, VA.

The vendors will support State’s software, hardware and communications technology with services such as systems and software analysis and design, computer programming, configuration management, testing and troubleshooting.
