OMB Looks at Subcontracting Plans

The Office of Management and Budget has assembled an interagency working group to look at subcontracting issues.

The group will address complaints about prime contractors failing to comply with subcontracting goals, said Angela Styles, administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, in a conference call with women business owners.

She said the group will meet with representatives of some prime contractors to get their ideas about how to improve subcontracting performance. “A lot of the primes that are good actors are frustrated as well,” she added.
