Army Awards ITES-2H Contracts

The Army has awarded contracts to two small businesses and four large ones in its Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – 2 Hardware (ITES-2H) competition worth up to $5 billion over five years.

The IDIQ contract will be the Army’s primary source for commercial server and storage network environment products.

The small business awards went to GTSI Corp. of Chantilly, VA and World Wide Technology, Inc. of Maryland Heights, MO.

Both reported annual revenues above $1 billion, but they qualified as small businesses because the contract was awarded under NAICS code 517110, wired telecommunications carriers, which has a size standard of 1,500 employees.

Large business winners are Apptis Inc., CDW Government Inc., Dell Federal Systems LP and IBM.
