The Missile Defense Agency announced awards to A-P-T Research Inc. of Huntsville, AL; a.i. Solutions Inc., Launch Services Division, of Lanham, MD; and Bastion Technologies of Houston. They will bid for task orders in support of the agency’s Quality, Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate.

Under the contract, known as MiDAESS, the companies will conduct anomaly and mishap investigations; support design and change evaluations; perform independent verification and validation analysis; and ensure safety compliance, according to a release from a.i. Solutions.

The contract is managed by the Missile Defense Agency engineering and support services program office.
