NAVY
Neany Inc., Hollywood, MD, is being awarded a $11,960,102 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N68335-11-C-0261) to provide training of Persistent Ground Surveillance System operators and deployment services in support of PGSS Phase III B. Work will be performed in various forward deployed operating bases in Afghanistan, Hollywood, MD,, and Yuma, AZ. Work will include cleaning tanks; partitioning a lubricating oil storage tank; modifying associated piping; installing access doors; flushing the fresh water and chill water system; installing a reverse-osmosis desalination unit to produce fresh water; and inspecting the propeller shaft, stern tube and stern tube seals.
