SDVs To Get DHS Set-Aside For Services

The Homeland Security Department plans to release a pre-solicitation notice this month for a multiple award services contract set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses.

The Program Management, Administrative, Clerical and Technical Services (PACTS) contract is an IDIQ vehicle that will provide “a significant portion” of the department’s non-IT services, according to a DHS posting on FedBizOpps.

Awards will be made in four functional categories:

•Program management, NAICS 541611
•Administrative support, NAICS 561110
•Clerical support, NAICS 561410, 561421, 561431
•Technical services, NAICS 541330

“PACTS is a DHS-wide strategic initiative being implemented to establish a portfolio of IDIQ contracts for non-Information Technology (IT) support services that will enable DHS business and program units to accomplish their mission objectives,” the department said in its latest notice.

It said the pre-solicitation notice will be issued by Jan. 14, with an industry day to follow soon afterward.

DHS officials said acquisition strategy for the contract will be explained in the notice.
