SBA Sets 2005 Matchmaking Schedule SBA and the HP Small Business Foundation plan four face-to-face Business Matchmaking events and five online matchmaking sessions this year. The events bring small companies together with government agencies and major corporations. So far the program has arranged nearly 23,000 appointments for small business owners to meet with government and corporate buyers, resulting in more than $26 million in new business for small businesses. said Robyn West, vice president, Small and Medium Business, HP. The face-to-face events in 2005 are scheduled for March 23-24 in Nashville; April 26 in Washington; June 7-8 in Los Angeles; and Sept. 14 in Milwaukee. The new Online Business Matchmaking program is set for March 14 in Phoenix; March 28 in Albuquerque; April 4 in Kansas City; April 11 in Tampa; and April 18 in Denver.
